Think of a tree with the trunk being the first AIDS infected user. All of the branches that come off that trunk are all the prople that he/she infected, and all the branches that come off the inital branches are secondary infections on and on and on. The lower branches would have a much higher gay male content so one could argue that initally gay men did spread aids more than straight people. If you just look at the just numbers I would agree with you but in practice you are wrong. The facts are there, all you need to do is open your eyes and ears and listen.

i stopped paying attention to this thread but i recently learned about the bonobo ape, which has homosexual sex...i remember someone back a few pages tried supporting their argument by looking at homosexuality in nature...well here you go...

AIDS is not an argument against gay marriage just as herpes, gonorrhea, or syphilis should not be used to attack sraight people.

aids may be a bigger problem with gays than straight people, but the fact is that straight people are spreading it more than gay people. i cant believe you guys believe that there are more gay people that have aids than straight people.

It amazes me how passionately some heterosexual people will argue for gay marriage, then use the exact opposite of that argument against polygamy.

What they say on gay marriage: Oh, let's support the minority, what they do behind closed doors is no concern to us, it doesnt hurt anyone. The definition of marriage should be changed.

What they say on polygamy: That's just not right, they're too small a minority, the definition of marriage is two people.

Anyone see my point? (No, I do NOT condone polygamy. It simply provides an analogy for the lack of basis for their arguments).
