I have never once thought I was better then you, or never once looked down my nose at you. I have no idea why you and others continue to bring up this falsity.

Books are great sources of information, so is daily interactions of internationals, so is news reports and opinion polls, and every other source of information in the world. I use all, yet you continue to use the age old, book argument. (be careful people who thought like you do, have lead book burnings in the past).

You debate things that are debatable. Like we can debate if China is trying to reach the idea of communism. But we can not debate it by your side saying because everyone calls them that, then they are communist. You can not debate that, it lends nothing to the argument and only makes it last longer. Now if from the beginning you argued the side that China was trying to reach communism, and you knew what communism is, and what China did, then we could debate it. But since you or the others know none of the above, it ended in an argument.

Now who is leaving out info that don't back their side.

When will you get it through your head that calling yourself something, and naming something something mean nothing. Just because the name of their country is the Peoples Republic of China, doesn't mean they are a republic. Just because their party is called the communist party doesn't mean they are communist.

Sometimes I think you are afraid to admit you are wrong, and just carry on debates forever, claiming you know more for you are in the "real" world. Or what YOU think is the "real" world.

Okay, here again you are mixing apples and oranges. Your comparrison of Bush and America as Evil and China as COmmunits are just plain "ignorant" and "stupid". As we said earlier, China has adopted the term Communist. They embrace it and present themselves to the world as such. President Bush and America in general are labeled as you so nicely put it by their detractors. One is self-adopted and one is an insult thrown. How can even you not see the difference and realize that that line of thinking is moronic.

One doesn't have to reach the ideal form of communism to be called a communist. All they have to do is to strive to reach communism. If you actually knew anything about China, you would know that they never strove to reach communism. So they are not communist. If anything/anyone says different, they will have to come up with a WAY better argument then most of the world says so. For that has never held any water in any debate I have seen.

I have shown you wrong, YOU have shown you wrong, yet you continue to deny it for you can't get it through your head that what people say doesn't matter.

And no, you do not know what the real world is, no one in the US can ever say they know what the real world is. Something about you owning a computer, a house, probably 2 cars, something doesn't add up to the real world.

Christians strive to be Christ like, and communist strive towards communist. I would have no problem with calling China a communist nation if they are striving to reach communism. Since they are not, they are not communist.

Yet this is were we are different. I understand that I had a great childhood compared to most of the children in the world. I had a roof over my head, we had a refrigerator, I had food on my table everyday. Do you know that in most of the world that is considered wealthy. I could of had it much worse. So to say that anyone in the US knows what the "real" world is, is a slap in the face to the guys who work 12 hours a day everyday, just for enough money to feed their children and maybe put shoes on their feet, (if you got a good job).

Again you turn to the Goering and the Stalin argument. If someone is against you just make them out as unpatriotic, and you will get rid of them and their argument. But sorry it isn't working. Next time argue ideas, not people making the ideas, you might get further.

I didn't see Shartley's post as saying he had a horrible childhood. I saw it as saying he appreciated what he had and what he has now.

You bring up the guy who has to work 12 hours a day just to put food on the table as living in the real world. What does your argument say about a guy who is in school and "has time to think"? Your own words. You can't have it both ways.

lol, i just got done with a history project on china, it was a travel brochure about it and it had to include a 12 page powerpoint and a bumber sticker. my bumber sticker said "COME! AND HAVE IT Made In China" as in relaxing... sort of a double meaning type of deal

I choose to share my personal life with my friends. I am not going to post any personal hardships here. Let CB ridicule anyone he wants. I will NOT post personal information for him to review. I have talked about what I have done, where I went/graduated from, a few things I own, but not any of my personal info or problems!

CB is a very dangerous type of fool! He is the kind of person who only hears/sees/reads what he wants to. He is so wrong here yet will fight til he is dead over a stupid argument. He never addressed my correcting of his self titled analogies, nor will he as he would have to admit he was wrong which he won't due.
