Speaking of bad reffing, who watched the OSU game?

Did you see that roughing the kicker call? That has to be one of the worst calls ever. He was in the air before the ball was punted, hit him less than a second after he got rid of it, and was PUSHED into him.

Another great day of officiating for the big ten

Oh that was a good call.

Once you leave the air, it doesn't matter if someone catches you and throws you into the punter, if you touch the punter it is a foul.

          WRONG!!!

There are two calls: Roughing the kicker and running into the kicker.

Also, if you are blocked into the kicker by a member of the kicking team, it does not HAVE to be called!

          Go 'bama!

Again please know what you are talking about before you try and correct someone.

Did the punter fall to the ground (I assumed so because of the call) since that would be the case, the normal call would be roughing the punter. Next time tell the guy to make his route sharper and jump sooner.

Yes ladies and gentlemen it is time for some college football.

May your team play up to expectation, may you have a Saturday that you remember until next Saturday, and may the Tide always roll.
Great post Collegeboy. Your Tide played a great game there, but you gotta give it to Stoops...that fake punt call took balls. I'm sure you have to be lovin' what's happening to Auburn so far. As for the rest of Saturday, I have to say a few things:

                1. Chris Leak should be starting the rest of the year for UF.
                2. Brock Berlin is as good as advertised.
                3. Wake Forest is hardcore, and is gonna make some noise in the ACC this year.
                4. K-State has got to be going for a record...how many 1-AA's can a supposed "title contender" play?
                5. Ohio State...dodged another bullet. Better to be lucky than good some days.

Speaking of lucky (as well as refocused and playing with heart now)...my Irish got the W this weekend! Hell yeah!

Hey Troy St. is a 1A team hehe.

Yeah I just wish we had those two maybe just one call called right, and we can actually start off good.

Oh I love what is happening to Auburn.

There was a sign at Gameday that said (Sorry but this is Bama)

                  Notre Dame Worthless
                  Oklahoma Definantly Worthless
                  Auburn Scoreless
                  Alabama PRICEless

                  I thought it was funny.

Well, the "PRICEless" one is definitely funny! They should have had somebody in the crowd waving a sign that said "NCAA: Rules? We don't need no stinking rules!"
                    (Sorry, but this IS Bama...)

                    Just kidding.

Whose Bama got this week...hmmm, looks here like Kentucky. That should be interesting...Bama's D versus the Pilsbury Throw Boy.

My Irish roll into The Big House to tangle with the Wolverines. Sure, UM has blown people out, but it's been Central Michigan and Houston. Let's see how well they fare against a better opponent. You're going down UM!

                      Or one that read.

Hey NCAA, am I a booster too?

The funniest one was one that said.

Mike Price's Pimp with an arrow pointing up to him, and he was dressed like a pimp. And on the other side it said, "The Real Reason Franchphony left" with another arrow to himself.

Then it is either running into the punter or roughing the punter, depending on how hard the ref thought the punter got hit. Again if the punter fell down the normal call is roughing.

That's hilarious. I think you should have made the "Am I a booster too?" sign, although most people would have missed out on the joke. Oh well. "College Gameday" will be broadcasting from The Big House this Saturday in anticipation of the Wolverines/Irish matchup. I know Collegeboy's going to be hoping the Bama D "overcooks" the Pilsbury Throw Boy, anybody else have any comments about their team's game this weekend?

Anybody else think K-State is truly screwed if Roberson's hurt for an extended amount of time? They can probably get away with a few games without him, but when they roll into Austin, Texas will slap them like they owe 'em lunch money without Ell.

No, its not. He was in the air and was pushed into the punter. He wouldnt have hit him otherwise, but was pushed into him.
