These are the things that I imagine had similar umm, prevelance in the past. I'm trying to not be crude.
But I guess I'll point out again things change. I agree, I worry about where does it end.
For example, I'm for the legalization of pot, but that's where I'd stop. Maybe some zipperhead will come along and want coke legal. So, I leave the pot issue alone. (and sometimes think of alcohol prohibition as an option again.)
I don't necessarily care if you call it civil or whatever. If marriage is a religous term then by george make certain your church doesn't have gay marriages. I'll support you in that.
I truely believe in the separation of church and state for the protections that it gives to both. So far, this had held water for our country.
The religous aspect is a marriage. The legal contract as recognized in all fifty and beyond, bestows rights and priviledges that I believe should be available to homosexuals.
