Hi, I'm new to this thread but I had the same idea in mind since some time. I know pneumatics and a little bit about automation. I drew some pneumatics systems and I recently found a special valve from clippard that might be usefull. The PV-1 valve is a small 3-way valve that send a pulse of air of 0.042 seconds and then open itself to free the air. By using this valve you wouldn't have to release the trigger to let the valve recharge. But you wouldn't be able to "hold" the valve closed by using the trigger. I was searching for a 3-way with light actuation force to go with this idea but at the moment I don't have the time and ressources to get this project from paper to reality. My plan was to use a 3-way linked to a PV-1 and the get the air to the ram. Believe me that since many months I drew many concepts and I wanted to use a double acting ram but I had to change my mind du to space restriction... I don't know if this thread is still alive but I wouldlike to get some feedback from you about this valve that you might use between your 3-way and your ram to maximize the recharge rate of the valve.
Finished my Pnuematic Trigger Frame...

That valve seems encouraging...I don't think theres any problem with the setup right now, holding the trigger down doesn't hurt the firing cycle at all, BUT
If this valve works the way I'm thinking it could be used to take our current system and use it on a sear tripper, which won't work with the current system.
Anyone else have any thoughts??? I was actually just planning on making a post about trying to find a way to adapt this to a sear tripper!

AGD Did someone call me?
You should go to each gun manufacturers forum or call them up. Ask the OWNER of the company why his gun is better. When you get your answers come back here and tell us what they said.
You should buy my gun because I have 5000 posts that say I care.

Pv-1
i've looked at this clippard item too, and i couldn't think of a way to incorporate it into the system and still be worthwhile.....don't take my word for it though, i definetly could be wrong....if someone wants to give it a shot, do it, and let us know.......Comment

Another .25" and I'd be set.
I'm thinking clamp on style
Like this -[I] (top view)
First Dash = set screw
[ ] = Extention
I= sear legComment

well, with using the PV-1 you would totally eliminate short stroking on the trigger...
that has got to be a good thing

A little progress
Just a little update on my setup.
Still havent had a chance to test fire it but the 3 way and ram work well together.
Everything connects to the Al. "sled" which attaches inside the frame with the grip screws.
It should fit any intelliframe with the intelli switch mount removed.Comment

What exactly is that sled? (I must have missed something)
ThanksComment

looks like you have to mill out your intelliframe for the sled
rt pro w/ lvlx etc.
custom milled out y frame
empire barrel kit
ult
custom 15 degree
custom milled rail
cut ule body
steel hose with QD's
custom welded drop
90/45 nitro duck x-stream
halo tsa w/ custom paint job
soon to get warp
custom palmer microrock front grip for future trigger for ^

Yup, I did mill out some space right behind the trigger in this frame.Originally posted by noahyaylooks like you have to mill out your intelliframe for the sled

But I've found a way around that already. Just need a couple hours to make up another tweaked "sled". Might even fit with the intelliframe switch mountComment

Great job Big! This style of setup is the way to go for people who want little milling.
The intelli really does have tons of room in it. All my test setup's have been with single trigger frames that don't have lots of space inside. When I do my classic RT's conversion it should be much easier since it runs an intelli.
Again....nice job.
