O and phish what did u use as a plunger in the mpa-3 is that just a piece of still. What size is it do u know?
      Thanks guys
yea, the spring was out when he lowered the SMAV-3 but how much shorter the pull was i do not know....in my setup, the pull i have now is just a TIIINNNYYY bit over 1mm.
the plunger in the MPA-3 is made of a RIVNUT and flush head screw, but from what i've heard from Bossman, 1/4 rod will work.....

So can I screw into the plastic that's in the mpa-3?

And the reason I ask about 3-way placement is for the issue of space which right now is my main problem. Getting my lines to route around the ram is the biggest problem.

          Thanks

UPDATE - I wanted to push this back up too the top...for awhile there it was hanging at the front of the line

I just ordered my last part from Parker, a Low Profile Cartridge cylinder (P1G). It was 20 bucks even through the Parker dealer next to me. As soon as I get it (about a week) I'll start working on mine, and will produce a STEP BY STEP guide to it

Anyone else have something to update on their mods????

You should go to each gun manufacturers forum or call them up. Ask the OWNER of the company why his gun is better. When you get your answers come back here and tell us what they said.

You should buy my gun because I have 5000 posts that say I care.

                ...

one thing i always kept saying to myself when doing this mod was "take it one step at a time. tackle the roadblocks as they present themselves. don't worry about things like rigging the lines when you haven't even made the actuator yet."
as for my project, i have the pneumatic trigger working so now it's on to the next step:

Integrate the LPR into the grip.....doing so will defintely clean up the mod....

when i get another trigger frame, i will post progress and instructions like Duck Hunt.......

I just called the company that I ordered the MSV-1's from. They told me that they haven't even sent out my order yet! So I've been in dry dock waiting for my new valve.

I did go out to my local field and aired up my prototype mag, shoots dry as fast as you could ever hope.....put some paint in a HALO with old batteries and a level 7 bolt......paint blender city.

UPDATE: I just (like 1 min ago) got a 1/8 socket to take out the exhaust port

okay next question. About where can I tap a nipple into the mpa-3? is it right around the letterind of it? sorry for the immaturity but I'm a teenager and things like this amuse me.

you can get an idea of where to tap by studying the picture BOSSMAN posted in this thread. Refer to post #198....sorry for the lack of detail, but a picture is worth a thousand words ...good luck.....

I just realized I have no hose to connect all these cool little parts together.

Anyone suggest a place to get some?
