The ram was custom made by Magaman and his friend. He said he could make more.

It really is tiny, I havn't had a chance to air up the gun yet to test it but I plan to this weekend, when I do I'll make a video.

I referred Magaman to this thread, maybe he can shed more light on it.

If it works well, then this may be a better option than having to hack up a MPA-3...

thordic, how well does this custom ram fit in the frame? (does it require any ram or frame cutting?)

Looks like it fits perfect, no cutting required. I havn't tried taking it out though. Id like to shoot the gun before I break it

Looks pretty nice! I wouldn't have used the quick switch 4 way though...there are alot of shorter 3 ways out there

          AGD Did someone call me?

You should go to each gun manufacturers forum or call them up. Ask the OWNER of the company why his gun is better. When you get your answers come back here and tell us what they said.

You should buy my gun because I have 5000 posts that say I care.

Well I didn't build it, I bought it

But Palmer claims the QS is adjustable down to .6mm, which is pretty short. I havn't gotten a chance to mess with it yet though.

I just used a mic on the inside of an intelliframe I had laying around....

Where the MPA-3 would go.....(.550") Width of an MPA-3....(.560")

Guess it would be easier to shave a few thousandths off the MPA-3 than mill the frame. (If you have an Intelliframe)

"few" thousandths? Don't you mean "ten" thousandths? j/k

                  F.i.y.

                  Another resource for buying parts:

                  Palmer Swivel QEV $10
Palmer Swivel QEV - these nickel plated Quick Exhaust Valves are used on Cocker, Vector or Rainmaker rams to increase the cycling speed by venting air right at the ram port rather than at the valve. A locking nut allows the QEV to be positioned properly and then secured into place.

Beswick M3LS-101x Right Angle Barbs $7 each
These 3mm threaded right angle fittings are available for use with 1/16" (1.6mm) ID hose (M3LS-1012) or 5/64" (2.0mm) ID hose (M3LS-1016). They're especially nice for the front ram fitting on the Nemesis, as it routes the air line more cleanly right along the body.

                  Beswick M3 hose barbs $11/pack
                  M3 threaded hose barbs - available for 1/16" (1.6mm) ID hose (M3H-1012), 5/64" (2.0mm) ID hose (M3H-1016), or 3/32" (2.4mm) ID hose (M3H-1132). Sold in packs of 6.

                  Beswick Inline Nipples $5/pack
These inline nipples are used to join together shorter lengths of tubing. Available for 1/16" (1.6mm) ID hose (MHU-1012), 5/64" (2.0mm) ID hose (MHU-1016), or 3/32" (2.4mm) ID hose (MHU-1132). Sold in packs of 3.

                  Beswick Plugs $5/pack
These plugs are convenient for plugging unused ports on solenoids (you can convert a 4-way into a 3-way, for example). Available for 3mm (M3SP) and 10-32 (MSP-1000) threaded ports. Sold in packs of 3.

                  Beswick LP tubing $1/foot
                  Clear urethane tubing in 1/16" (1.6mm) ID (MUT-1012), 5/64" (2.0mm) ID (MUT-1016), or 3/32" (2.4mm) ID (MUT-1132-1). Sold by the foot.

okay I got my stuff in and I don't know how I'm supposed to get the spring out. I used wire cutters and pulled on the indention of the stem after I put the 3-way in a vise. But that thing feels like it's IN there. And I don't have a socket small enough to fit the exhaust port.

Do you advise against placing the smav-3 right under the mpa-3. I think I read somewhere that that gave some bad results. It's either that or where the safety goes. And that won't be very safe

for the lpr I've dumped my idea of an inline for the t-fitting like phish's
sorry about jacking ur thread phish but for now it gets more traffic.

Toothpick, tiny allen wrench, blow on in the exhaust port.

DON'T stick anything in the exaust port! The small delrin piston in there is fragile.

The SMAV-3 only need's the front piece taken out to access the spring, I know it's "in there" but keep trying, use something for leverage. It is just a press in piece with a little locktite on it.

                        good luck.....

                          My temporary testing setup....

See the big threaded rod running through the grip? Thats where I mounted the SMAV-3 to test it lower in the grip......Made the trigger plug shorter, but much heavier.

if im correct, the spring is out and it doesn't make the stroke shorter, it just lightens the force required to activate, and from what Bossman says, it lightens the force quite a bit......

no no when he had the 3way lower was the spring out then? And by how much did lowering the 3 way shorten the throw of the trigger?

BTW I just mounted my micro rock on the other port of my drop. I'd rather have it by the valve but the store didn't have any t-fittings and now I can go through the intellifeed hole. It's just big enough for the hose to go up through it. I'll just have to bore out the notch at the bottom a little. Then shave it off the top

O and phish what did u use as a plunger in the mpa-3 is that just a piece of still. What size is it do u know?
                                Thanks guys
